Be Ready to Answer These Seven Questions

by Ray Salemi on July 10, 2009

In this blog post, Bob Sloane gives job candidates seven great questions to ask during an interview.  These are designed to help the candidate make a good impression and learn more about the job.

Seven Great Questions to Ask at a Job Interview – Stepcase Lifehack.

The question is, are you ready to answer these questions?  Do you have a clear idea of the day-to-day responsibilities of the job?  Do you know the biggest challenge facing the organization?  What are the candidates’ opportunities for training and career advancement?

Finally, if you like the candidate, are you ready to make a trial close of your own.  Do you ask a great candidate, “You know, we’re early in the interview process, but before we go further I’d like to know if there is any reason you wouldn’t take the job?”  Find out early if you’re in competition against other companies, or if the interview process has raised concerns for this candidate.

Great people are hard to find.  If you see a good one, open up the lines of communication early and make sure you close the deal.
